Global Strategic Business Advisor
Jeff is a dynamic global strategic business advisor with relevant experience that spans a 30-year career, including 20-years combined as partner at Ernst & Young (EY) and A.T. Kearney. He is a highly skilled and passionate leader in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), integrations, divestitures, and business transformations, linking strategy to purpose-led leadership and execution. Importantly, he has gained relevant experience, including firm governance and non-profit board leadership in organizations making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Until his fall 2020 retirement from EY, Jeff was Global Client Service Partner, accountable for overall EY client relationships and mobilizing the EY network across service lines and competencies with the C-suite of Fortune 200 multi-national consumer products accounts. Major areas of focus included perspectives on developing global operating models, technology disruptions and changing consumer behavior, M&A, commercial go-to-market planning, supply chain, manufacturing, human capital, internal audit, and tax. Previously, he was Americas Operational Transaction Services Practice Leader within EY's Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), helping Fortune 1000 and private equity clients operationalize strategies associated with M&A, integrations, divestitures, and business transformations. Here, he led the launch of a $200 million P&L practice area with over 300 diverse professionals, jump-started global capabilities, and drove a highly profitable 45% CAGR in revenue. Additionally, he served in several EY governance roles, including as member of the firm’s U.S. Executive Board, U.S. Nominating Committee, TAS Operating Committee, and TAS Inclusiveness Steering Committee.
Prior to his EY career, Jeff was Vice President (Partner Equivalent) at A.T. Kearney Inc. leading business development, service delivery, and firm building at the C-suite of Fortune 500 clients, and was Co-Leader of the firm’s merger integration offering in North America. He brought his expertise in M&A, integration, growth strategies, business transformation, and strategic cost reduction to clients across multiple industries including consumer products, oil & gas, chemicals, diversified manufacturing, and technology. He also had governance responsibilities as member of the Global Strategy Council, Principal Selection Committee, and North American Diversity Council. Early management consulting and industry experience includes CSC Index Inc. (Strategy Practice), Booz & Co. (Strategy/Energy Practice), and BP America Inc. (Chemicals Business Development and Marketing).
Jeff is a member of corporate and non-profit boards including: Board Director, Fortune Brands Home & Security, Inc. (NYSE: FBHS); Independent Director, Equitable Funds; Board of Trustees Chair, Babson College; Board Chair, Chicago Children’s Museum; Former Board Chair, INROADS Inc.; Board Director, National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Chicago Chapter; Board Director, Harvard Business School African American Alumni Association.

Studied advanced intermediate French at l’Université de la Sorbonne, Paris. Enjoy global travel and quality time with spouse and three children. Engaged in golf, skiing, platform tennis, and physical fitness, including being a Peloton indoor cycling enthusiast featured as a home rider in a health segment on ABC’s Good Morning America. As Chicago Children's Museum Board Chairman, successfully threw the ceremonial first pitch at Wrigley Field before a Chicago Cubs game.
